Slick hair? You bet. Ducktail? Indeed.
Long hair? No way!
I've been slicking my hair for over 35 years. I used to use Vaseline Hair Tonic but it's not sold in the U.S. However, here's a real secret: Use baby oil instead. It's the same stuff — mineral oil [with a fragrance]. Any cheap brand of baby oil is good. So why buy something expensive when baby oil will do the trick? If babies can use it, why not me — or you?

For more stiff hair, just use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. Take a dab (not too much, not too little) and put it in the palm of your hand. Rub with the other palm so it's "liquefied" and then rub, rub, rub in you hair. Then comb. Don't worry if you think it's too much, it'll even itself out during the day.

Back when I was in high school (1973-1976) the "long-hairs" would say "hey, the wet-head is dead" (they stole it from Vitalis). Well, those guys are bald now and I ain't. I'm 50 years old and still have my D.A. -Chris Gulyas

Father got him started using Murray's
When I was younger, my Father made me use Murrays Pomade to keep my thick, black hair in a neat, short, and slicked, side-parted style. I have very thick and stubborn hair, so I needed alot of product to keep it in place. I now keep my hair short on the back and sides, with a little length on top to slick with brylcreem, groom and clean, and other waxes, and gels. I think brylcreem (more than a dab...) on dark hair looks awesome in the light. Just seeing the shiny grooves "smiling" at ya can make you melt. I would love to meet guys either in person or online for some great slicking sessions. -Hawaii Guy
Ed. Note: The best place to network for slicking together is Yahoo! Group's Greaser's Lair.

Razor sharp side part
A friend took me to his barbershop. The barber gave me a short back and sides cut nice and high and slicked the top with brylcreem and created a razor sharp side-part. Sharp Haircut, GB

Straight back
I am 36 years old I have been slicking my hair straight back since I was 19. I use various types of pomades. Buzzwuzz

Slick since childhood
I'm 51 and have been slick since childhood. I'm never without a good handful of Brylcreem in my hair. I love a Dapper Dan! Slick Taper Cut

Officer's hair reports for duty
I have always loved the sheen, texture, and fragrance of hair styled with Brylcreem. I am a police officer and enjoy watching coolleagues grease and style their hair before and after shifts, especially when the rim of our caps leaves an indentation ring in our hair. Tudor Prince

Whwn he's sure the back and sides are perfect, it's time for the Brylcreem
Every other Saturday, I go to the barber's and get a haircut. I,m a guy in my twenties, I like to look good and I love this feeling of discipline connected to it. I always wear a suit, shirt, and tie — it enhances the experience.

I sit there waiting my turn, my haircut is a short back and sides, cut nice and high and slicked. I get plenty of compliments. Some guys have given me the ultimate compliment by getting a similar haircut.

Then it's my turn. It's off with the jacket, into the chair and I'm caped up and the barber works his magic. No instructions are necessary, he knows exactly what to do. Today, no need to take anything of the top today. It's 1.5 inches — just right. The clippers burst into life — #0 of course. They run up the back and sides of my head — nice clean cut. A short back and sides as it should be cut. When he's absolutely sure the back and sides are perfect, it's time for the Brylcreem. This is the moment that says it all. A generous handful from the tub is then worked into my hair finishing up with a razor-sharp side parting. I get to see the back of my head in the mirror and as usual he's done a first class job.

Today, a guy who was waiting to get his haircut spoke to me as I left. He asked the barber if he could get his haircut like mine and would I mind waiting for a few moments. The barber laughed and said it would be his pleasure to give him a similar haircut but there was no need for me to stay, he could create this cut without any effort at all.

I left the shop and headed home, when you have a haircut that looks this good you feel like the smartest guy on the planet. Andrew Walsh

He copied his dad's style
I first loved the slicking of hair when my granddad sported a greased sharp side parting. I used to copy him after he had fixed his hair and found it to be a real turn on. It was very exciting to grease my hair and presto, I still ejoying it. I love the old spice hair cream — wish I had it again — now the Brylcreem is the best stuff ever. I love my hair slicked with side parting to the left, the front slicked back, and my sides greased to the back. wammarkmudboy79

Wants to be just like the greasers he saw
When I was in middle school I saw a bunch of greasers and I wanted to be like them. That was about 1998. The style I like best is a high pomp. The products I use on my hair are American Greaser Supply 90wt, Layrite, and Dax. Rockat

It's all about peace, love, and grease
I just love that old school look, pomp's and DAs, you know, its all about peace, love, and grease. So Cal Sultan

Barber with a D.A. discovers that there are others with same interest
I have worn my hair in a D.A. since 1957. I just had a hair transplant in Jan.07. Since the hair is now beginning to grow in I turned to the internet to see if I could find old pictures of guys with pompadors and D.A.'s . I litteraly stumbled on to your site, and wow I was totally blown away. I visit your site nearly every day and can always find something new to read, look at, or admire. Incidentally I have been in the hair business since 1970. I am a licensed hair dresser. I work in a barber shop where I have both male and female clients. None however are wearing their hair as I do mine. I had no idea that there were other people with the same intrest. Thanks for a great web site. D.A. Dave

A smart haircut by choice
I have been brought up by my guardian, a man who has always favoured strict discipline. Every other Saturday, it's a trip to the barber shop where we both get a traditional short back and sides. It is trimmed just above the ears, and at the end finished off with a heavy application of Brylcreem. When I was growing up, this haircut was mandatory. Now I have it from choice. There are many forms of discipline, a smart haircut is one of them. C.W.

His father was one cool cat
My grandfather who seved in the Vietnam war always had the best looking hair. And I remember looking up to him when I was child and saying "man that is one cool cat" Currently I have my own sytle and slick and use PROclaim black dyed beeswax, Royal Crown, and American Classic Pomade. Juan

Surprised by his barber with a flattop with fenders. Now he must always grease up
When I was young almost every man used grease, but it was the 60s/70s and it became uncool to slick up. They even ran ads proclaiming "the wet head is dead!", so I conformed.

In my teens I learned that slicked hair was a huge turn on. It became a secret fettish until in my 20s when my barber forced my hand. I bumped into him at a bar. We were having some beers when a guy with a perfect slicked back ducktail walked by. I nervously told my barber about my obsession and was disappointed when he shot it down sying, "you wouldn't want that", I dropped the subject. On my next visit he said, "trust me, let's try something new" and while blocking my view he proceeded to give me a flattop with fenders. My old cut could either be slicked or not, but the long sides {with a flattop] meant that I would have to grease up all the time. I was blown away.

I'm still always on the lookout for greasers and good barbershops. If I see a guy with a great DA I'll ask were he got his hair cut, and they're always happy to discuss their slicked hair with great pride. MoDaug

Mexico is a lonely place when you're the only greaser boy in town
19 years old school greaser, yup, that's me. Being a greaser living outside the US is in fact a little bit lonely; at least here in Mexico there are NONE, and i mean NO greasers at all altough i enjoy being quite unique. I dicovered my interest for rock'n'roll when i was 6 years old and got shocked by the king's jailhouse rock; And now, 13 years later i can't seem to live without my AGS & comb pack XD. Proudly wearing my pomp & DA around Mexico, my goal is to make everyone see that the hand jive lives and it's still rock'n'roll to me (love that song :D). Feeling happy 'cause i found this place and remember... you all have a friend in Mexico!!! QUE VIVA EL ROCK'N'ROLL!!! Goji Bravo

Loves the way his hair looks slicked back

I recently found your site and find it very well put together. I started playing around with greasing my hair about three months ago. I have tried various products including Groom and Clean, Jeris tonic, Krew Comb, and my favorite which is Wildroot Creme Oil. I love the way my hair looks slicked back and I enjoy the process of applying the oil and experimenting with parts, all straight back, lifting the front up into a bit of a pomp. I have also visited a few barbershops and asked the barbers for tips on how to grease and style and have received a couple of good greasings from them. I find the whole experience very exciting right now and will continue trying various things and visiting barbershops for more tips. New Greaser

SlickVille helped Mr. Lytle get the courage
I am a junior high social studies teacher who has always had a fascination with big greasy black pomps. When I started my current job I decided that each year on the last day of school I would do something new and very different with my normal boring hair cut. I started with the obvious shaving of the head, and moved on to bigger (and better) things. Last year was the pinnacle of the endeavor, when I had my stylist (a fantastically talented woman who can do marvelous things with hair) give me my long sought after pomp. I was nervous that I wouldn't know how to describe what I wanted. In my search I found SlickVille to be a great help. It was so incredibile that people I work with (teachers and students) walked right by me and didn't recognize who I was. The cut was a big hit with everyone, including my wife. Thanks for providing us all with an outlet for our folicle fantasies. (See Photos) Mr. Lytle

In search for a barbershop
So on with the search to find a barber to man the blades and covert me from longhaired biker to short and greasy gear-head. The search was going downhill at great speeds. Then all in a few smooth rather simple keystrokes I found Slickville and instantly knew I was saved — there are others with the same affinity for the greasy culture for as far as you want to indulge yourself. I browsed the site, looking at the cool photos from all over the world. I found the barbershop directory and was lucky enough to have someone not to far away that I could put my full trust in, knowing that I would get exactly the cut I was expecting. Azrieal Faust - KC

SlickVille has changed his life

This might not seem like a big deal to some of you but since grade school, I have always had an attraction to guys with straight, smooth hair. Short, tapered sides and back with a nice straight side part. I have always wanted to wear my own hair that way but could never get up the nerve. Like most of my friends I've always done the messy rat's nest look because it was in style.

SlickVille has changed my life. Once I visited your site and realized how many others share similar passions. I decided it was time to live out a dream I've had since I was a kid.

I went to a local small town barber and told him I was ready for something new. I told him I'd like to go with a tapered look and that I was considering a side part. Something clean and neat.

The cut was orgasmic. I am maintaining the style to this day and I'm using Brylkreem now. I'm in heaven everyday and I owe it all to SlickVille.

Thank you for giving me the strength to do this. Keep up the good work. Damien

Don't mess with Reverend's hair!
I first started using pomade when I was trying to find something as an alternative to gel. I have always slicked my hair back and pomp...love it..looks good...feels good...and it lasts in the rain...not to mention there is always the ability to "fix" your hair when your friends mess it up...and now I can leave them with a little greasy present as well. Reverend Wolf

Greased hair to impress the chicks
I have a pompadour and I like to find websites that have photos and tips. Thanks for a great site. I used to have a moppy unkept style, but I've since discovered that it is a scientifically proven fact that chicks can't resist a guy with greasey hair. So now days, I keep it short on the sides, tall on top and full of Murray's. Shannon

Likes the feel of men's greasy hair
My interest in slicked styles started with my dad. He slicks his hair down. He use to let me watch him comb it. He also use to let me feel it That is how I started my love for men with slicked hair they turn me on I would like to do my hair like my dad but people in my family doesn't like the way he combs his hair. I have always liked the way greasy hair on a man feels I find myself going up to men with greasy hair and asking them if I can feel their hair. kelly1989

The new kid in the neighborhood had it greased to the max!
From as long back as I can remember, I have admired slick hair. I was born in 1950 and my father worked in Manhattan. His hair was slightly slicked (Wildroot) but dramatically more so on those days that he got his hair cut at a shop close to his office. That shop was paradise, with brightly colored jars, tubes and bottles of various tonics and grease. I usually got my haircut in a town close to our home but, every once in a while, would be taken to the New York shop and it was such a treat. Felix, or Manny if Felix was on vacation, would give me a Cub Scout and then slick it up really well. I loved it, then and now.

In early adolescence, my love of slicking took a different turn. My own hair was somewhere between curly and wavy and did not slick very well. About that time, a new kid moved into the neighberhood and at first he had rather non-descript hair. For some reason, and to this day I do not know why, he started slicking it and it looked great. He had the hair I wanted: blond and straight and greased to the max. Even though my own hair resisted slicking, I had most every oil and tonic around: Vitalis, Brylcreem, Wildroot, Score, Top Brass, some early hair sprays for men and a local goop called Trevors that was sold (and used liberally) at the local shop. One day I asked my friend if I could grease his hair and he said sure. I don't know if it surprised him or not. Somehow I determined that he was using Vitalis (the smell?) so I went and got my bottle and gave him a good dousing. Then I brushed and combed his hair into perfection, or what ever passed for perfection for a 12 year old. This continued off and on for serveral months with various dressings, but usually Brylcreem or Vitalis. It never got better than one day at the barber shop when we were getting our haircuts at the same time. His hair was slicked pretty good and then the barber added more grease and my friend asked if I could comb it. The barber readily agreed and I loved the experience.

Way back then, I had figured out that there were several groupings or types of hair dressings. There were the alcohol based ones such as Vitalis and knock-offs of Vitalis. They did nothing for my hair but worked pretty good in my friend's. Then there were the greasy ones like Brylcreem, Wildroot and Top Brass. About this time, Score and Groom & Clean were coming onto the market and we played around with those as well. Oddly enough, I really liked the Trevors goop. It was something along the lines of a really heavy version of Odell's. It went on wet but in a hour or so would dry rock hard. The closest product to this today, I think, is a gell and gells are still my product of choice. They bring control to my still somewhat wavy hair.

Slick hair rules and has been an enjoyable part of my life. Slick Bill

Site gives Pggy Ann new insite
I discovered my interest by accident and owe it to your site. I was searching for something else on Google and came upon an unpaid search listing for a hot story about hair slicking and how it relates to prison relationships. I proceeded to devour the site, get a hair tip (blow dry the wax to make it more pliable) and now I check back occasionally for updates. This site has given me a new angle from which to view people I meet, particularly older men. I have always been interested in what I can only call "blue collar vanity" and this site gives me more insight than I could've ever hoped for. I put a link to your site on my site, http://www.peggy-ann.com. Thank you for opnening my eyes! Peggy Ann

When he was a kid greased hair was the norm
When I was a kid in the 50s and 60s greased hair on men was the norm. I have always been attracted to men with slicked hair - it is a symbol of masuclinity. I grease my shaved fade haircut hair every day with either wax, Royal Crown, Brylcreem, or Vaseline Hair Tonic or a combination of some or all. Short-n-Slick

Slicking with grease
II'd like to say how much I love your site. I find slicking with grease such a turn on and I must salute you for all your work. Sid

Loves SlickVille and the support it gives
I recently went slick and love the look. Had seen some men sporting the look and thought that they looked great and it was a neat and well groomed look. Talked with my barber, let my hair grow a bit and last week went in and came out with a great side part slicked style and just love it. Couldn't stop looking at it in the mirror and saying "damn this looks great". He sold me a jar of American Crew Pomade and I've been slick since. Love your site and the support it gives. All the best and thank you. Slickedneat

Loves a sensual story
"Cuttin' It" by Chris Creemer is one of the most sensual stories I've read. I know it has to end one day but keeping the sexual tension going is totally HOT!!!! Also, "Myflattop2" is one sexy guy. I prefer his hair in the older photos, though, without the extra part and the curl in front. Simply combed back with a part on the side, shining gloriously, is the best. Gene

Eyed slick hair ever since he was a boy
I have always loved slick hair from when I was a boy. I've got natural curly hair but I love seeing other guys with nice slick back hair.I do slick mine a bit & it looks pretty good. I love using Brylcreem it makes your hair so nice & not like jells I like the real thing. Keep up the good pics there terific. Des

Mess it all up and then grease it into shape again
I love guys with thick dark greased back hair preferably using Brylcream. I love to see a guys hair all neat and greased and then messed up and hanging over his face and then combed back into shape again. Also love to see a guys hair having grease added until it is dripping...Have always loved guys with greased hair, it has been a fetish of mine for as long as I can remember. Wetandgreasy

Likes some "skin showing" on the sides and the top long enough to grease
I've always enjoyed seeing men with short, slicked, sharply parted hair. As a kid I tried to make my hair look like this, but was never successful since it was so several inches long and very wavy. I always envied men with straight hair! About 10 years ago I decided that if I got a really short haircut, I might be able to achieve the look I always craved.

Well, getting a very short haircut allowed me to realize my dream! It seems that I get the back and sides buzzed shorter every year. I like seeing some skin. I keep the top just long enough to grease and part. I like to keep it sharply parted on the right side.

I love seeing men with any haircut that is greased and sharply parted on the side. I especially enjoy it when the sides and back are tapered down to the skin like mine. I like it when men take the time to get a nicely groomed, short haircut at the barber's every 2-3 weeks. It shows that they care about looking good.

I enjoy all of the traditional men's products: Brylcreem, Wild Root, Groom N Clean, Vitalis, etc. I also use American Crew Pomade occasionally, but never use gel!

Thanks for this site! It's great to see there are other men out there who enjoy slicked haircuts as much as me! Cutshortnslicked

Likes plain ol' redneck grease and a greasy Ace comb in his back pocket
As long as I can remember I've been interested in men with shiny slick-combed hair. Thought there weren't too many men like me out there, so I was really excited to find this website. I wear my dark hair parted on the side, fairly long and combed back, always slicked with hair cream. I've tried just about every product and have a whole shelf of hair grease at home. I like Wildroot, Vitalis, Brylcreem, Three Flowers, all the old-fashioned men's hair tonics and grease. I even order Brylcreem from the UK or Canada because it has that great old masculine scent that was changed in the US version some years back. But I've never been much interested in a lot of these younger "fake greasers" who treat their hair with salon products and maybe get a shine but not that great smell and silky slick feel. I just like plain ol' redneck grease on my hair and a greasy Ace comb in my back pocket. I'm really interested in connecting with other guys who share my appreciation for the look, the smell and the feel of great greased-up hair. Mike Rowland

Vintage styles is his style
I've been greasing down my hair since the seventh grade. Perfectly combed, shining hairdos with sleek parts have just always appealed to me. I spend about 15 minutes every morning styling my hair, making a completely flawless centre part. I use a lot of Brylcreem and various gels and waxes. I've never met anyone else who enjoys making these vintage hairstyles. I am so relieved to see that there are others out there. Logan

He goes through a large tube in about two weeks
I have had a slick-hair fetish from the time that I was three. My father used Brylcreem, and I used to watch in fascination as he would put it in his hair every morning. I thought it was so HOT. I would often smell and lick the comb that he just used to grease his hair after he left for work. As I grew older, the men that I always thought were the most masculne and handsome were those who greased. I loved walking closely behind them in order to get a whiff of their hair. By about 12, I was sneaking into my father's bedroom so that I could secretly sniff and feel his Brylcreemed head. Then I would go into his bathroom and pretend that he was showing me how to slick my own hair. I would use his Brylcreem and his comb and put gobs of Brlyceem into my hair. I LOVED the way it made my hair glisten and I loved the feeling, too. I also LOVED the way that it smelled--just that smell was enough to get me hard as a rock! (Anybody notice how in the 70's the smell changed--I liked the old smell better, but the new is good). Anyway, I would play in my hair and comb it for hours, then sit on the toilet and sniff Brylcreem directly from the tube while playing with my hair. It didn't take long to shoot a wad of cum across the bathroom and onto the opposite wall.

In college, I was lucky enough to find a man who would sometimes indulge my slick-hair and Brylcreem fantasizes, but I do't think that he was really into it. I KNEW that there had to be other men out there into my greaser fetish, but until today, hadn't found any. You've made me an extremely happy man, and I am looking forward to meeting and getting together with some hot masculine greasers!
I use Brylcreem every day now, once in the morning, and once in the evening. I go through a large tube in about two weeks. I have a thick, full head of brown hair, so I enjoy slicking it straight back, or sometimes parting it on the right. I also use it as a lube for fun activities.

Could hardly wait to get the computer out of the box
One of the first things I did upon receipt of my new computer was to type in slick hair which led me here. I have had an interest in slick (particularly greasy slicked hair) as long as I can remember (preschool). When I was a teenager, I would buy all sorts of greasy hairdressings and "sneak" them into the house, where I would experiment. In the 70's, there were not as many greasers around, but I could spot them a mile away! I guess my favorite hairdressing is Groom&Clean — love the smell — I like pomade, as well. Mitch

Couldn't believe that there are others like him
When I found this site I became sooo happy, I couldn’t believe there were others out there like myself. And now, because of this [site] I am a proud daily greaser, enjoying such products as American Crew’s Grooming Cream and Pomade, Brylcreem and Royal Crown. Cleanpart

It started with Claek Kent
It all started with Clark Kent, well with George Reeves anyway. Back in the '50s, I watched that show with excitement and anticipation. I didn't understand at the time why I was so excited, but as I got older I knew it was the slick, shiny, healthy hair. I also used to stay up late to watch old movies on TV. One night I saw an old Boston Blackie movie with Chester Morris. I've been turned on by his hair ever since. Since that time I've discovered so many slick-haired men to admire, from Cary Grant to Stephen Baldwin. Sometimes it's hard not to stare. Once, in high school, I was talking to a guy in class. He must have noticed that I was staring because he asked why I was looking at his hair. I lied, of course, and told him I was looking a something behind him. Now, after all this time, I found a place like SLICKVILLE, where it's cool and acceptable to admire other men's hair and to admit that I get turned on by it. Thanks for making this incredible slick, shiny home available. Hairshine

'My daddy had a big black pompador and the sides slicked back very shiney and greased.'
As a young boy, I accompanied my daddy to the barber shop every Saturday. It was a ritual that was followed by the hardware shop, the pipe and tobacco shop, and then the delicatessin for lunch, just the two of us. My haircut was usually a crewcut with the front greased up about 1 1/2 to 2 inches high. My daddy had a big black pompador and the sides slicked back very shiney and greased. As I grew older, daddy allowed me to grow out my hair a little longer but it was always greased slick and wet and I was required to keep it that way all day and especially for dinner. Every morning while I was eating breakfast my daddy would clean my glasses and then first apply some warm water to my hair. Next he would rub in a good glob of pomade and rub it in all over my hair and scalp. Then he would begin to comb my hair, making a clean part, combing the sides back close to my scalp and finally the front way up and to the side. The final step was appying a very genrous amount of any of the following — tres flores, vaseline hair tonic, wildroot, vitalis or brylcream. They all smelled sweet but masculine and made my hair shine in the light and the little girls in class used to come over to me and smell my hair. The only downside was while playing baseball, the bees and the flies were all over me because of the sweet smell. I will never forget this experience! N. Bogart

Hours of pleasure
You have a great site! Thanks for the hours of pleasure that you've given us all. Paul

Loves the executive look protraied by KiwiSlick
I really enjoy the Slickville site alot. I check out various hair sites, but I love slickville best because of it's devotion to slick hair I just go crazy over slick hair. I really love the slick executive look, as portrayed by KiwiSlick recently — super sharp suit and tie, incredibley neat well slicked hair with a super sharp side part - yummm. Get-The-Wet-Look

Excited over so many slick pictures
First of all, your Slickville site is really great. There's enough pictures of greasy hair to make me hard as a rock (and beyond even that!). Ace Superslick is one of my favorites, as well as many others. Neil

"I'm still a very goodold time barber"
I've had the interest in slicked hair since I was a little boy and was slicked with Vaseline Rose Pomade and brilliantine. I became a barber specializing in boys/young mens grooming and slick hairstyles. I'm much older now and don't have the hair for slicking anymore, but still am a very good old time barber. I use all the Lucky Tiger products,Stephans products, Southern Rose pomade,Dixie Peach pomade and, of course, Brylcreem! Bill Mansfield

SlickVille - Totally stunning
I am in awe with the slickville website! I tell ya Jim, it actually makes ya feel like ya been to SlickVille in a town from the 50's. Totally stunning! Greaserdannyboy

More than excellent

The Brylkeen (SlickVille) site is more than excellent! On my behalf, I commend you highly for offering "we grease/brylcreem" fetishers and admirer's sometime to look forward to whenever we click to your site. It takes a lot of dedication, time, and expense from you, and I thank you!! Danny

No reason to look any further
I visited your site for the first time this week and I must say, I was amazed at the pictures of Gullifer! There is no reason to look any further because his pictures will never be equalled, much less surpassed. By far the best part of the series was 'The Auto Parts Guy'. Kevin

The smell of Vitalis, Brylcreem, and Groom & Clean is "total turn on."
I have always loved the slick wet look all my life.(I love all kinds of hair but the wet look is my fetish)As a young boy I admired others styles, especially guys with pomps. (Elvis for example) I had a flat top as a kid but quickly grew my hair long to be in style. I love the smell of Vitalis, Brylcream and Groom and Clean. The smell is a total turn on. I wear my hair slicked today similar to Jack Cooper (Royalcrownman) and Slickdude with a pomp. After my morning shower I towel dry and apply a small amount of Vitalis and let it dry somewhat, add a small amount of gel and a dab of Brylcream for the shine and look. I LOVE this web site. Alan (aka: mtgeman)

Long haired bikers with a whole jar of motor grease turned on this hairy bear to greasing himself and his friends.
I first got turned on by slicked and greased hair when I saw a lot of bikers gathering in the peak District national park in England in 1974 when I was 12. One guy had long nearly waist length hair which looked like it had about a whole jar of Brylcreem or even motor grease put into it. His hair was dead straight and had a brilliant shine to it. He was wearing torn shabby denims and filthy looking leathers. That was the first time I was aware of my greased hair fetish. I like hair when it is pressed completely flat and shiny rather than pomps, also slicked straight back or a centre part but must be totally flat and rock hard so even a hurricane won't move it. I used to wear it slicked back to a point at the back in a DA. I love to slick other guys hair. Especially black hair like Chinese guys have or long hair, but short hair works quite well even though it is a bit more limited. (See a photo of Mudbear with his hair this way draped over his leather motorcycle jacket.) Mudbear

for some reason felt great sensations when the barber greased me with Brylcreem

The site is really good and I have had a slicked hair fetish for many years — like Short N Slick, a nice short back and sides but enough hair left on the top to literally grease and shine. I too was always made to have a short traditional barbered haircut in the 1960's and for some reason felt great sensations when the barber greased me with Brylcreem whether I liked it or not but when I left the shop it just seemed that this was the way to feel perfectly groomed. You felt you had a smart haircut and knew with the grease it would stay that way for the best part of the day. I still think its the smartest and best way hair should be today. Although it is not common, it is great to see a website like this and we can all share common interests.

As for KIWISLICK - I will be at the front of the queue and in that barbers chair — not only to get a fresh short greased haircut but to experience the sensation of seeing him doing it and ensuring his clients look as smart as he does. Certainly looking forward to him emptying that bottle on his head, hopefully dealing with some clients too. KM

My knees go weak whenever I
encounter a real greaser
I am a hair fetishist so slick hair on men is just one facet of my interest. However, slicked hair emphasizes all of the qualities about men's hair that I love: sheen, adds thickness, smooths all types of hair to make it look silky (well, almost). I love longer hair that is slicked and styled with every hair is in place, but I lust after longer hair that has been slicked and styled but every hair is NO LONGER in place. My knees go weak whenever I encounter a real greaser, a real rarity these days, and I can't take my eyes off of the guy's hair.

My favorite styles usually have long bangs which are swept to the side or back, huge quiffs, pompadours. I wear my hair in combed to the side and back forming a modified pomp with a DA in the back. The products I use include Brylcreem, Groom N Clean, American Crew Pomade, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair Wax, and John Frieda Sheer Blonde Detangler.

I had a DA in grade school
My dad was a greaser back in the day and he always told me cool stories. I had a DA in grade school and as I got older I always liked the way guys looked with grease. Plus my mom kept photos of young Elvis all over which also inspired me. I use Royal Crown right now and I slick it back with a slight pomp and sometimes a curl in front. Joey

I think well-greased hair is the ultimate in masculine grooming
"I was born in 1953. When I was growing up, all men wore slicked hair. I did not want to slick my hair when I was a boy but my father made me use Brylcreem every day. He would make sure I was well greased and would cream my hair up himself since he knew I would not. I hated this daily ritual. He also insisted that I go to the barbershop every other week for a "regular boy's haircut" which the barber always finished with a generous application of Brylcreem. At the time I thought of this as a punishment. Mysteriously, when I reached puberty, I would get a hard-on when the barber greased me up with Brylcreem after my haircut. In college, I wore long, blow-dried hair held in place with lots of stiff hair spray but still dreamed of the Brylcreem days.

"Now, I wear my hair very short -- even shorter than my father made me in the past and I slick it every day. I think well-greased hair is the ultimate in masculine grooming. I go every week to the barbershop for a razor shaved fade and the top is about one inch long. I comb it straight back every day, slicked with real grease. I love Brylcreem and Vaseline Hair Tonic but my favorite is Royal Crown because it is pure grease and really shines. I also like Vidal Sassoon's wax but I love Rob's 30-weight hair grease with Texas beeswax. Lately, I have been starting with a large dab of VS wax to hold my hair down, and then I put another large dab of Royal Crown. Then, I put a little bit of Sandahl's butch wax which tends to take away the shine so I finish off with pure mineral oil which makes my hair really shiny." Short-N-Slick

"Most active member award"
Gully has been surfin' our greaser sites, and found such an active member, such a dedicated 'moderator/leader' of his site..such a benevolent one to the 'greaser-lover' cause....THE 'cause' of making it available to those who thought they were alone, THE 'cause' of sharing his love for men with well/over groomed hair. He shares at his own out of pocket expense 'detailed' , 'high resolution pictures' of men with greased/groomed hair. He considers all pics you fellas send him, and considers all pics of hair to incorporate in his museum of men's slicked hair.

I do not use the word 'Museum' loosely.

Groups/site/clubs, are groups/sites/clubs....but his 'ADDRESS' IS A MUSEUM to hold to validate to cherish true works for those who come behind us...of men's 'slicked' hair.....they will surely think they are alone until they find his ADDRESS

He is Jim Brown....of our Brylkeen site....who I would call a LEADER... Gullifer

I'm in a state of excitement that
borders on torture
"Just wanted to let you know that your site is beyond terrific and is almost too hot to bear. I just finished looking at it and I'm in a state of excitement that borders on torture. Not that it is torture. It hurts to look at those guys and not have them here. Thanks so much for giving us a glimpse of what heaven is like. Wow." Charles
